TOPIC : GOD GANESHA

Once upon a time, in the heavenly realm of Mount Kailash, lived Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, the divine couple. They were deeply in love and their bond was a source of envy even among the gods. One day, as Parvati was preparing to take a bath, she decided to create a guardian for herself to ensure no one entered her chambers without her permission. She took some turmeric paste from her body and shaped it into a beautiful young boy. She breathed life into him and named him Ganesha. She gave him strict instructions to guard the entrance and let no one pass without her consent. Ganesha, loyal and obedient, took his position at the door. Lord Shiva returned to Mount Kailash after a long period of meditation and was shocked to find a young boy barring his way. Ganesha had never seen Shiva before and had no knowledge of his divine status. He stopped Shiva, saying, "You cannot enter the chamber without my mother's permission." Shiva who was known for his quick temper, grew furious at this insolence. He warned Ganesha, "I am Lord Shiva, the ruler of this abode. Move aside, or I shall remove you forcefully!" Ganesha, however, remained steadfast in his duty and refused to budge. This infuriated Shiva even more, and in his anger, he drew his mighty trident and struck Ganesha, severing his head. Parvati, unaware of the commotion outside, finished her bath and came out only to witness the lifeless body of her beloved son. She was heartbroken and filled with rage. She demanded that Shiva bring their son back to life immediately. Shiva, realizing his mistake, ordered his followers to find the head of the first living being they came across and bring it to him. The followers rushed to carry out his command. They soon returned with the head of an elephant. Shiva placed the elephant's head on Ganesha's body, breathed life into him, and Ganesha was reborn with the head of an elephant. Parvati was overjoyed to see her son alive again, but Ganesha's appearance had been forever changed. Lord Shiva embraced Ganesha and apologized for his impulsive actions. Ganesha forgave his father and accepted his role as the guardian of the divine realm. He became known as the remover of obstacles, the lord of wisdom, and the deity of new beginnings. His elephant head symbolized intelligence, memory, and the ability to overcome obstacles with wisdom. From that day forward, Lord Ganesha was revered by people across the world as the god of good fortune, knowledge, and success. His story served as a reminder that even the gods are not immune to misunderstandings and hasty actions, and that forgiveness and wisdom can overcome any obstacle in life.
